Grainy photos of wet activity prompted a run up to gauge the extent of avalanching on the NW face. Alas, only some minor wet loose activity below some of the rocky outcrops.
Snow is isothermal, yet of course still structured. No pooling noted along interfaces.
Depth hoar crystals found at the base of the pack; Jan/Feb PWL found 30-40cm down. All easy to identify, but all crystals are damp.
ECTN24x2 down on the drought layer, just to see what it would do. I suspect that the cooler temps will help to stabilize our structured pack in the coming days.
Push-alanches easy in steeper terrain.
Imagine glide avalanches still possible in the coming days; perhaps a rogue wet slab today or tomorrow.
Snowpack
All aspects damp. Unsupportable on foot; ski pen was 15cm. Grim.
