Quick report
We dug a 1.5m deep pit on a SE slope at 9,900'. We found 12cm of new snow in this location. Below the new snow was a slightly weaker 4F layer. Below this, was 12cm of 1F firm snow, followed by 3 cm of 4F snow. In an extended column test we got a fracture on the 13th tap (ECTN13 @ 13cm). This seemed representative of the area we traveled in. Winds were light at all elevations.
