Quick report
The Christmas crust still has a layer of facets directly below it, and while we were doing our tests we found this area to be moderately reactive. Something interesting we found, was melt water, making its way through the upper half of the snowpack and resting above the Christmas crust. This will lead to the potential for wet loose avalanches, especially in sun exposed areas and with the reaction found below the Christmas crust, we still can not rule out a persistent slab avalanche. Moving forward, there is a new melt freeze crust forming on the surface with near surface facets not far below, as new snow piles up on this layer, this layer will be one to watch out for, for sure.

Snowpack
Snowpack depth in this location was 115cm. We performed 2 instabilities, an Extended Column Test(ECTX), that yielded no results other than some progressive cracking and we performed a Propagation Saw Test(PST 34/100 END), just below the Christmas crust. Water saturated snow was observed just above the Christmas crust, as well.
