Small Creek Observations It was ~35f at the base of small creek when we got there at 11:45 the snow had a corn like texture and the crust was ~10cm deep, as we got up to 2000 ft there was ~45cm layer of storm snow bonded to the frozen crust below and continued up to 3500. There was a wet loose avalanche at that he base of stairway, flat light precluded seeing where it originated from. There was a gentle wind from the northwest at about 5mph
