Quick report

No signs of instability whatsoever. If the surface was exposed to sun at all, it was crusty. If it had tracks on it, it was almost icy. But besides that, untouched snow in north facing terrain actually skied pretty well. Definitely some “loud pow”. Surface hoar growth has been really widespread and pretty significant. We saw 2-5mm crystals on almost any untouched surface. Up high, around 5600’, some had been blown down but not much. It was cold enough I didn’t get any useful pictures, sorry.
