Quick report
Eschewed (once again...) uncertain conditions in the backcountry for rambling around the Summit on skins. Snow got sticky in the flats mid-day. Wax both skis and skins... Clear sky, light but steady E wind, warm temps. Sunglasses. More loose-wet activity and rollerballs remains the primary story. A Strava-acquaintance's photos from the morning of 2/28 showed a D2 glide-avalanche on the E side of Humpback. Glimpsed it from the Summit today but didn't have the opportunity to make a picture; might have a chance in late-afternoon today.
