Quick report
Cornice collapse on sunflower hill with a snowboard track exiting the debris field. Looks like someone came over the top triggering the cornice collapse and was lucky enough to ride away. Site was filling with new snow and location was under large cornices. So very little investigation was done. No other activity to note. No settling, no cracking no slides or snow movement on steep slopes. Snow was dense and colder on the summit with a transition to wetter heavy snow below 7200. Intermittent snow showers and heavy winds transporting snow. Heavy precipitation between 3 and 4 pm.
