Quick report
Casually walk/skied around mellow terrain near convict. Found deep snow with many weird density changes through the snow pack suggesting temperature changes occurred during the storm. Slightly more consolidated storm slab on top with very unconsolidated snow underneath made travel very difficult as you would fall though the snow while skinning. Snow was waist to chest deep just above lake level. Did not notice any cracking, maybe some collapsing but it was hard to tell if that was just due to the bushes underneath. We also didn’t get very far.
