New layer of freezing rain capping all the recent snow all the way up to at least 6200’, found about 8-10” of new snow on top of the prior rain event, but it was less of a defined crust compared to the Flathead range yesterday. The bottom of the snowpack was moist and uniform. Intermittent snow flurries once the freezing rain stopped.
