- Recent Avalanches, Wind Loading
Travelled from LCC to Cardiff Pass and down into upper Cardiff Fork. Slopes <25 degrees offered great skiing, anything steeper and you're hitting the slick new/old interface below. Skies were clear and winds were light to calm once below ridgetop. HS 30-100cm, HST 15-30cm. Observed several loose snow avalanches that likely broke in the last 48hrs in steep terrain running on the new/old interface. There were several other users out and about testing new and creative ways to access terrain in upper Cardiff Fork.
