It stayed cool today with clear skies and calm winds. We noted surface hoar on a skin up and great cold fresh snow on north aspects.
We dug a pit around 10,500 feet on a NE slope. We noted a crust ~20cm down with faceting on both sides. Deeper in the pack we noticed most of the snow showing signs of and partially developed facets. We had not results in out pit.
Overall riding conditions where good since it stayed cold. We will see what the coming days bring.
