Quick report
Toured to Seattle Ridge weather station to observe surface conditions. Wide spread well developed surface hoar in the upper 3cm of snowpack and near surface faceting evident. Dug two pits notable for the surface hoar near surfacets and an ice layer in the lower third of both pits. Sun had plenty of warmth and appreared to be driving melt recrystalization faceting on the most southerly facing slopes. Beautiful day to watch the next storm approach.
