Rode up Lost Johnny - the snow was deep and the whoops were bad (horrendous actually) Top 2-3 deepest days of the year for me in this zone. Snow was blower and mostly unconsolidated from the previous storm. Very little wind affect except for the uppermost exposed elevations. Observed cracking and sluffing on steep slopes but was overall surprised with the stability for how deep the snowpack was. Towards the end of the day it settled a bit which made the riding better and I noticed some small natural releases on steep slopes. South Fork Groomer Fund 2026 LFG!
