Sliding falls are more of a hazard that any avalanche activity right now. The weather events of the previous 7-10 days consisted of very warm weather, north winds, and wet snow and rain. All that is to say that very firm surfaces exist across different aspects and elevations right now.

Partly sunny skies in the morning gave way to mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon. Winds were very calm. Very quiet weather day.
Snowpack
Very benign conditions right now. Very firm surface crusts make up the upper 6-12" of the snowpack. Depending on aspect, some of these crusts are thicker and a little deeper. There are up to three different melt-freeze crusts from the weather events of the last 7-10 days. In between these crusts, there is weak (faceted) snow forming, which could be problematic once we receive an additional snow load. Beneath these MF crusts, we observed a strong, rightside up snowpack across multiple aspects today.
