Lots of good, right-side up snow to ski. There were reactive soft slabs, as mentioned, especially in convex slopes near craggy features. Still need more snow. While coverage greatly improved, there's still plenty of ski lines that are 'not' in. Large boulderfields aren't quite filled in and it's not hard to find the ground if you poke down far enough. Hard trail breaking all day long. Soft, storm slab approx 1ft deep was reactive on steep convexities and near ridgelines where wind loading was prevalent. Most reactive/energetic near craggy rock features where the snowpack was thinner. Reactivity specific to near ridgeline leeward slopes and convex rolls (ex. top of Silver Lining, top ramp on Old Man). Snow was rightside up and non-reactive in most open terrain. Little to no wind affect.

Mostly overcast throughout the morning. Sun breaks after 12PM with greenhousing in the afternoon. Light to no winds.
Snowpack
9-11 inches of soft snow overnight was a welcome sight! A sneaker storm filled in the Kendall Adventure zone enough to ski. We opted to approach via the forest road and saw a number of others who thought the same (approx 7-9 people out and about). Still plenty of early season hazards but the Kendall Peak lakes are frozen over.
