Quick report

It wasn't raining, but visibility was poor, and travel was challenging. I opted for the rain-softened groomers and a dug-around to track meltwater movement in the upper snowpack. The upper snowpack is wet, punchy, and challenging to move around right now. Boot penetrations exceeded my knees and were roughly 50 cm. Between 5500 and 6600 ft, I found the wetting front roughly 40-50 cm below the surface. As you'd expect, after 2 inches of rain, runnels dominate the landscape at middle and lower elevations.
