Quick report
- Cracking
- isolated
Toured on the lower west aspects of diamond head today. Generally we found about 4-6 inches of light powder on top of an icy crust, although it varied from 2-12+ inches depending on aspect. Looks like the most recent winds were southerly. Light winds during the day. Some exposed areas had heavier wind effected snow, but it didn't slab up and we only found isolated cracking. Didn't dig beneath the crusts. Pretty good skiing, especially where we didn't hit the crust.
