Quick report
Took a walk in the commonwealth zone, and it was snowing! Snowing moderately when we pulled into the lot around 1300. Continued to snow the entirety of the time out. Winds were light at the pass and didn't note any up the valley. Stayed far away from any slide paths and only went up to 3,600'. There is a noticeable rain crust from last night that made conditions difficult to "ski". 3/8 still has the weak 4-finger layer remaining underneath. Did not note any graupel above the 3/8 in this location. Ran into someone who was near Kendall Slide Path and they did not note any recent avalanches/cracking.
