Snowpack
The snowpack is generally weak and faceting in this area despite digging in a wind-drifted shoulder along the ridge. The upper 20cm is soft and faceted, whereas the mid-pack has a little more strength and structure. Similar to what I've seen in the Gore Range, the bottom 20-30cm is weak facets and still our layer of concern. See pit profile below. I did get propagation with an ECT, but it took much more force than a week ago (ECTP22).
