OVC skies, S-1, light NW winds in the valley, much stronger winds at ridgetop. 4.5"/.35" SWE on the Loveland East stake.
Snowpack
On an east-facing slope below treeline I found a slab that was about 30cm thick, 4F hard, and faceting. About 30cm of basal facets below the slab and 25cm of recent storm snow above. ECTX results. I saw no obvious signs of instability in my travels.
