Quick report
Like other places around the forecast area, Lincoln Ridge had a variety of snow conditions. We found some lingering soft snow on steep, sheltered, and shady N aspects. Breakable crust existed on slopes that had seen the sun, and wind-affected snow surfaces remained widespread at all elevations on open slopes. Despite wind strong enough to blow us around on the ridge, we did not see much blowing snow. The areas where the wind could have picked up snow were either already scoured or too firm. We also saw some old cornice failures along the ridge, but we did not see any signs of current instability.
