Toured up and over Judah today to check out the new snow. Several signs of wind slab instability including natural cornice collapse and cracking in wind affected areas. Dug several hand pits and stomped on many test slopes on different aspects and elevations including removing structural support of the slope and retesting. Didn’t see anything that indicated instability in the persistent weak layer or any wind slab naturals. HS at parking lot was around 20cm depending on scouring v. loading. HS around the summit varied from 50-70cm.
