Strong, gusty ridgetop winds, with several gusts to 60 mph. Intense crossloading and transport above treeline, with wind direction variable below the ridges. By noon, the range north of Crestone Needles was in clouds and maybe light snow.
Snowpack
Very thin. There is some snow, but not a lot, and most of it is in discontinuous patches. No dust in the recent snow.
