Traveled from 6600’ to 11100’ in Witcher Cyn today. Skinning started at 7500’ and the creek crossing was easy. From 7500’ to 11100’ it was clear that almost no area of snow had a solid refreeze last night. N and NE aspects held transitional surface snow but the underlying snow was sometimes unsupportable on the northerlies also. In some spots, sticky transitional snow, semi-supportable corn, and completely rotten over baked mank were all available within a few steps of each other. No wet slides or roller balls observed.
