Quick report

Fantastic skiing on the East Slope of Red Cone today, skied light and knee deep. We kept to the mellow terrain and did not directly observe any cracking, whumping, sloughs or other signs of instability. However, we spotted what appeared to be two natural avalanches that likely ran shortly after the storm. Morning was a bit cloudy and surprisingly windy with some moderate flagging off the Red Cone summit. Afternoon was perfect - low wind, comfortably warm but not enough to make sticky snow.

Avalanche

Saw at least two naturals that appeared to have run on Wednesday.
