Quick report

Collapsing
widespread

Skiing on east shoulder of Blackmore, went a bit farther up the ridge, saw no signs of instability, no recent avalanches, shooting cracks, or other yellow/red flags. 4th skier down in this zone remote triggered a approximately D2-3 avalanche. Crown about 300 feet long, about 1-2 feet deep depending on the zone. Thinking it’s recent storm slab snow sitting on top of an existing weak facet layer from past weather cycles. Ripped down to the base which also could have contributed to the volume of the slide. No one caught or carried.
