Quick report

Red Flags Comment

No tangible red flags observed

We spotted this interesting pocket Friday which was most likely triggered sometime earlier this week whilst it was still hot. It looks like a damp piece of snow dribbled from the steep rock band, crashed onto the slope below, and broke to the Jan/Feb weak layer. This is the last of the observed PWL avalanches most likely occurring right before the April Fools storm

Snowpack

Instability Comment

I like where the snowpack is headed strength-wise.

Sun and rising temps finally having an effect on even high elevation north facing snow, but in between the MF crusts and hot pow we found some coolish snow and easy travel on a very supportable base.
