Southeasterly winds started blasting Gordon Lyon around 5pm today resulting in heavy wind transport above 3700’. A steep NW-facing chute on Gordon Lyon looked to have recently shed, leaving behind a 1-2’ crown above an icy bed surface. We also observed cracking in wind drifts at ridge top. Lots of snow was still available for transport, look out for fresh wind slabs this week!
