Quick report
I snowshoed fo above Dog Lake. The snow was somewhat damp at the TH. The snow became much lighter around the trail split to Desolation Lake.
I snowshoed a bit up towards Reynolds staying in the Aspen and pines. No skiers had been in this area since the latest larger storm.
I didn't observe any significant avy concerns as I chose conservative routes and avoided avy terrain. However, there was some small wet release or sluffing above the TH when I heading back down trail.
