1,500' W-aspect HS 175cm Overcast Calm ECTX and PST 90/100 End down 40cm above melt-freeze crust. Variable surface conditions, a little bit of warm/soft, dense corn starch, edge-able cool whip, supportive wind buff and candy coated sun crust. A parfait of flavors for true connoisseurs. The suspect melt-freeze crust down 40cm was about 5cm thick and had a thin ice layer over top, but was not reactive during test, you could call it "sticky". Numerous other melt-freeze/crust layers were found in the snowpack and failed only on shear tests. About 40cm of depth hoar at the base was rounding and mostly-re-frozen.
