We saw the remains of an avalanche in S Monitor today. Likely occurred early this morning (with increased winds and additional storm snow) or yesterday as parts of it were covered by new snow. The crown was about 1/3 of the way down the slope and appeared to have been triggered by a cornice fall. The debris ran the entire path to the flats.
