Quick report
- Red Flags Comment
-
No red flags. Everything seems quite stable and well settled. You may still be able to find an avalanche somewhere, perhaps in the more extreme, upper elevation terrain. There are still patches of buried near-surface, faceted snow left over from over a week ago and people may still get a slab on this layer. Or, perhaps, a lingering wind slab. But mostly low danger on all slopes.

On Sunday, with the expected strong wind from the northwest and a couple more inches of snow, we will likely see wind slab development in the upper elevation, wind exposed terrain.

Snowpack
Most snow is sun crusted and/or damp but the upper elevation, north facing slopes remain quite good with settled, dry powder but many slopes are tracked up.
