Planned to ascend Explorer Glacier and bailed at glacier terminus. Saw many crowns of various size on peaks surrounding. Consistent whumpfing below treeline in a creek drainage. Whumpfing was inconsistent out in the open.
Avalanche
Saw numerous crown lines on ridgelines and above treeline terrain. Did not get close enough to determine crown depths.
