Quick report

Took the standard skin track to the Troy Saddle and chose a Southwest-facing slope for a pit. Wind was light/gusting to moderate well into the afternoon, which kept the sun-affected snow surface cold longer than anticipated; no new loose wet slides observed during the day. North facing snow was more firm from the wind but still soft and edgeable. Surprisingly reactive results in the pit: propagating ECT and PST results on a near surface facet layer 25cm down. An additional weak layer 65 cm down was more stubborn.
