Quick report

Thanks to CBMR patrol for another great season reducing avalanche risks for the public!

There's about 5" of settled storm snow in wind-sheltered areas that's been moved around by the wind in exposed locations, with some wind whales about a foot thick, mostly in concave features, and a lot of erosion down to the crusty storm interface.   I didn't see any notable avalanche activity in the surrounding backcountry terrain.  Patrol triggered a wind slab near the peak with an explosive.  The snow was getting moist to wet on sunbaked westerly terrain this afternoon (like Terminator Chutes), but just gluing into the old crust without any rollerballs or wet loose activity.
