Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Chased blue skies up to hunter pass at where the clouds viciously moved in. Continued up to the top of North Bowl hoping a window would open. As I was 100 feet shy of the top, visibility increased from 20 feet to views to the bottom of the bowl, but before I could make it to the top and transition the weather came back in with more force. Felt winds pick up as I stood for about 20 minutes waiting for another window. Fighting to stay standing, I tucked tail and skied back down the ridge braille. Visibility improved once in the south fork valley below hunter pass. Variable snow conditions with pockets of powder and soft wind-deposited snow between pockets of wind board. Above hunter pass there were small, new, and reactive wind slabs forming. Cornice on the bowl was huge and very steep.
