Quick report

Varied depths of new snow, aspect and elevation dependent.  Wind and sun exposed zones, an inch or 2 new snow sits on the old snow surface. On due south faces, small melted sun cups were found.  In more protected terrain, up to 6" of new snow with decomposing surface hoar found is spots.  Winds were light, and temp was chilly but above freezing in the high 30's F.  New snow is still soft with varied conditions underneath. North aspects have surface facets (sugary snow) under new snow.   A couple more days of high pressure and stable weather, with atmospheric river inbound this weekend.  Steep North aspects with surface facets are capable of Dry Loose slough currently and South facing Wet Loose is possible, though evidence of this today was sparse.

No surface instability
