Quick report

walked/skiied through the largest debris pile I’ve ever seen. one toe of the debris traveled almost halfway across the lake. Large, gouged “groomers”/ tracks were over 20 feet high in some spots. Debris piles were 10-15 ft deep or so.. my best guess at size would be R4/D3.. did not seem to be a recent slide.

Graupel and S2/S3 for the entirety of my tour today. Moderate winds from mostly north (granted I was in a north facing basin)

Snowpack

Decent amount of storm snow fell today.. crust underneath was sort of slick but generally supportive except for the occasional isothermic sinkholes.. I’m sure there will be slabs growing as this storm continues. trail isn’t really skiiable much below the bridge
