Quick report
Ascended the northern-most SW-facing couloir up to Kangaroo ridge ~630am. Good stability on the up, descended the same route on the exit. Dug a hasty hand pit on the shaded northern aspect of Big Kanga. Snow here was dense pow / old condensed wind slab, and skied really well. Snow stability overall was good, but we identified a dense 7in slab on a layer of granular snow with a deep hand pit, which took a decent bit of strength to release. Lots of wet-loose activity on the way out the ascent route (~2pm, saw sun all day) that covered most of the lower sections of the climb.
