Quick report
Conditions were pretty safe with no recent avalanche activity. Looked like there was one old avalanche about a week to 10 days old from the prior heat wave. Clear wind loading at the summit ridge but no instability. Overall, there was a light powder layer with a hard base, just right for mountaineering. Route was via Bear Gulch trailhead and up the long gully with the obvious choke point. Glissaded about 1500' in total.
