Quick report
A foggy layer persisted for most of the day up to elevations of around 7000 feet, providing an insulating effect that kept snow conditions very consistent and benign throughout the day. There was approximately 6-12 inches of dry powder sitting atop a denser supportable crust layer. There were no signs of unstable snow, but we only skied north aspects today (which didn’t get hit nearly as hard by yesterday’s extreme sun) so we are unaware of stability conditions on south slopes.
