Quick report
Left TH @ 1300, returned at 1515. 6-8" new snow from this morning. Snowing hard (S2+) our entire tour, with probably 4-5" accumulated on the car when we got back. The saturated snow from yesterday has not refrozen and was not boot or ski supportable, making challenging skinning at times, and skiing was grabby. The cliffs above the outtrack boulder field had shed overnight, but we saw no other signs of recent avalanches. We observed very little wind, and We saw no sign of wind-stiffened snow. Visibility into upper elevations was limited. The new snow that had accumulated was fairly light and would slough off on steeper terrain but was generally unconsolidated.
