Weather.. Through out are trip we experienced a great day of riding and snow conditions around 6.5k on polar slopes proved to be easily turnable with about 6 to 8” I dug a snow on a NE facing aspect at about 6200 ft. See pics… We ran a ECT (Exteneded Column Test) which resulted in a propagation (clean fracture) on a weak layer buried just over 3’ down from the surface which appeared to be on one of several melt/freeze or rain crusts with facets below the crust. Total snow depth was 205 centimeters.
