Quick report
We took a little lap to reflection lake up the Stevens canyon road- lots of signs of wind transport and debris on the snow. We dig a pit at ~5000’ on NW aspect and found a failure at around 55cm from the top of the snowpack and a second failure around 110cm deep. We also saw some sinking rings around the base of trees!
