Observed some naturally collapsing cornices Monday along the PC Ridgeline in between the Sound of Music and Pointy Peak. Caused by the recent high winds and being exposed to sun. Created small sympathetic releases below the cornice fall. Path was no wider than the width of the cornice and only affected the new snow layer (no stepping down into deeper instabilities).
