I'm submitting this because I don't see another observation reporting this yet. I'm hoping that someone who was up in White Pine got a better look at this than I did, as I only saw it from North Thunder Peak in Hogum. From North Thunder I was able to see a large slab avalanche on the west aspect of Red Top. It appeared to be a few hundred feet wide and was most likely our most recent storm snow (~2') sliding on a crust. I couldn't see any ski tracks in the vicinity. The crown looked sharp, so it appeared to be fairly fresh (likely releasing 3/14 or 15), but again I was several drainages away so didn't get a great look. If from 5/15 it's a significant outlier, as loose avalanches were the norm. If older, then likely just a storm or wind slab that pulled out near the end of our storm.
