Quick report
Widespread wind effect. Travelled from toe of glacier up through look eerie, then onward to upper canwell hut, and then up and over the pass to the upper gakona. From toe to 4000ft and above 7000ft extreme wind effect and scouring with loading on west aspects. South faces below 4000ft showed signs of melt freeze. Snow surface in wind effect areas pencil to knife hard. No recent avalanche activity seen. Wind and sun layers will likely be reactive bed surfaces with future snowfall.
