Skied around saddle today. Saw cracking in the new snow and lots of small propagating slabs, 2-4" deep depending on loading. These were ripping off pretty easily, but were small and not running too far. Underneath this soft upper layer was a denser layer of soft snow, in loaded places up to a ft deep. Below the ridgeline, I was only able to get a few of these to slide, and they only propagated a few feet. The wind was ripping all day, with lots of snow transported over the ridge. At the top of s saddle, I kicked off a cornice triggering a wind slab that propagated out about 30ft, the debris ran down the slide path for about 500 ft until the slope mellowed out. At the deepest point, it was around 2ft deep. I stomped most of the hangfire and got a slab to propagate out into the adjacent slide path. The debris of both these avalanches was soft, but it may have been big enough to bury a person. While hiking, I noticed a slide on the west side. It was hard to tell, but it looked pretty deep and was fairly wide.
