Travelled around the Oliver area today. New snow has made it slightly more difficult to spot wind slabs, but you can still feel a slightly upside-down upper snowpack in areas that were affected by the wind. On Mid-Upper E -NE aspects of several ridgelines, I felt small localized collapses. There was 8"-12" of wind-stiffened snow over a softer layer of decomposing precip particles in these areas. In one instance, the collapse was accompanied by a 10 foot crack from the front of my skis. (This happened at the pinned location for this observation). Digging around in the area showed a 1ft wind slab sitting on decomposing precip particles. I also spotted an avalanche that may have run yesterday, one drainage over (See added avalanche for more info)

I would guess this ran sometime late yesterday, but can't be sure. With that in mind, take the size with a grain of salt. The crown had already partially filled in, but what you could see was ~150 ft wide You could see partially covered debris right at the treeline. The slide looks to have run approximately 100 ft
