Quick report

There was 4-5 inches on new snow that was medium density down low and low density in the middle and higher elevations. Wind slabs where forming on lee slopes at mid and low elevations, but they seemed stubborn.

We noted the 12/26 crust, with propagation in one ECT and no propagation in the other. It seems that in places that have a much thicker crust, and more moisture in the snowpack, we are not seeing propagation. I am still keeping an eye on this layer.

Height of snow at 8,000' was 150cm.

Otherwise the new snow seemed rightside up and was bonding well. There was minor loose dry activity in steep terrain at mid and lower elevations.
